What's The Best Way To Package Your

FRAGILE ITEMS!!!!

1. For All Items It Is Best To Use A New Corrugated Box!!! "Why Not One Of The Ones I have Saved In The Closet Or Under The Bed" You May Ask???!!! Well, Older Boxes Or Ones That Have Already Been Shipped Are Just That, Old! They've Already Taken And Seen The Abuse Of Being Sent Through The UPS, Fed-Ex, USPS, DHL, Or Other Rough Delivery Service. The "Padding" Or Flutes Of The Box May Have Been Squished And Or Crushed So You No Longer Have Any Of The Needed "Padding" Left!!!! Plus They Are Dirty And Un-Professional Looking.  Not A Good First Impression For The Recipient Of Your Package!!!

2. It Is Very Important To Make Sure That Each Item Is Individually Wrapped With A Good Cushioning Or Protective Type Material!  Bubble Wrap Is An Excellent Choice For This!  Packing Papers Are Another Wonderful Choice To Wrap Your Items With! Then Fill The Left Over Space In The Box (The Void) With A Good Void Fill, Like Peanuts Or More Of The Bubble And Packing Paper. Peanuts Are A tremendous Void Fill, Because They Can Assume Almost Any Shape And Fill Almost Any Gap Or Hole!!  Both Packing Methods Are Great Ways To Properly Insure That Your Items Arrive Safe And Sound. The Main Difference Between These Two Great Packaging Methods Is Really Personal Preference. Both Can Be Just As "Protective" As The Other! Ohhh, And Don't Forget To Fill The Insides Of Any Hollow Items!!! We Don't Want Them To Get Squished!

3. Placement In The Box Is Almost As Important As How You Wrap Your Items!!!!  Make Sure That The Weight Of The Individual Items You're Shipping Is Evenly Distributed Throughout The Box! Give Your Items Ample Space Inside The Box. DO NOT HAVE AN ITEM TOUCHING THE WALLS OF THE BOX!!! Be Careful Not To Ship Really Heavy Items With Light Items As The Heavy Items May Damage The Lighter Items During Shipping!!!

4. Choose A Good Packaging Tape To Secure And Close Your Box. Hot Melt Tape Is A Great And Easy Tape To Use! It Almost Seals Itself! But Acrylic Tape (Clear Packing Tape) Is Probably One Of The Best All Around Tapes You Can Use, Regardless Of The Temperature Or Application! Make Sure That You "SMOOTH" Down The Tape On The Box To Make Sure It Adheres Evenly On All Sides!!!   "How Much Tape Should I Use?" You Ask!!?? Three Pieces Top And Three Pieces Bottom For All Shipments!!!!  Better Safe Then Sorry! Filament Tape Is A Terrific Way To REALLY Making Sure Those Boxes Stay Sealed!

5. Next, Use A Good TO/FROM Label To Finish Of Your Package!!!! These Address Labels Save Time And Money! And Always Place A Strip Of Clear Packing Tape Over Your Shipping Labels To Prevent Them From Smearing In Case They Get Wet!!!

6. And finally, For All Your Shipping Papers And/Or Invoices..... Use A Packing List Enclosed Or Invoice Enclosed Envelope To Make Sure Your Paper Work Gets To Its Destination At The Same Time As The Package!!!!

We Hope This Has Helped You Be More Aware Of How You Package Your Items!!!!
